the High Dam, the engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Proceed to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut such obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, the powerful woman and the only female rulers of the 18th dynasty, the Daughter of Tuthmosis I, and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. Another opinion dedicate this obelisk to Queen Nefertiti. Then to be driven to the majestic Philae Temple which was built on the honor of goddess Isis the chief deity of the island.

Ho scelto Samir e il suo team per visitare diversi siti in Egitto: Piramidi (mezza giornata), Abu Simbel, Aswan (diga, obelisco incompiuto, tempio di Philae e Nubian village), Luxor (valle dei re, valle delle regine, deir el medina, templi di Ramesse, Luxor e Karnak). Tutto impeccabile dal pick up da e per l’aeroporto e trasporto in macchina da e per i siti che volevo visitare. Le guide sempre super disponibili e preparatissime (Romany è stato il mio preferito)! Sicuramente mi rivolgerò a Samir per il mio prossimo viaggio in Egitto!
