Indulge yourself with an outstanding wine tour guided by a dedicated wine expert/sommelier. Visit two of the most prestigious and well respected wineries that have proved that the region produces world class wines. Taste top quality wines from local varieties such as Savatiano, Malagouzia, Roditis, Assyrtiko and Agiorgitiko as well as the well known traditional wine, Retsina. Experience the perfect combination of wine, gastronomy, culture and stunning landscapes. Departure 9.30 am: Departure from Athens, enjoying having a sommelier sharing its knowledge of Attica region and its wines. First Winery Arrival at the first winery where you will have the opportunity to visit both the wine cellars and the vineyard. The whole wine making process will be explained. Taste 4-5 different wines. Second Winery and Lunch Second winery with a visit of the vineyard. Taste three different wines and enjoy a light lunch. Drive Back Stops at some scenic viewpoints for gorgeous memory pictures. Return at pick up point at 15.30.

This was the experience of a lifetime! You visit two wineries where you actually learn not only the process of making wine but also the history. The tastings are well thought out with pairings and detailed explanations of wine. Yet the best part of the tour for me was our guide; she was such a wonderful and friendly person to have a conversation with. We talked so much sometimes we forgot we were supposed to be tasting the wines! When I come back to Greece I surely will look for this experience again.

Learning the cultural relevance of grapes, winemaking, and cultivation was eye-opening to understanding the wineries! I learned a lot, and I enjoyed the tour!

Very knowledgeable sommelier. She really helped us understand about the intricacies of wine making and how to get the best out of the tastings. Also very good driver who pointed out places of interest on our way to the wineries and was skilled at negociating Athens traffic. They both helped us get the most out of the day. Both wineries made us very welcome.
