Driver's room complimentary). If you wish to do do your own hotel reservation, you need to reserve an extra room for your driver.
  • You Have the options of 3 different Vehicles types: Sedan/ Suv up to 3 adults or family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids - up to 10 years old free) - Minivan ( from 1 to 7 persons - 2 kids/ up to 10 years old free ) - Minibus ( from 1 to 14 persons - 2 kids/ up to 10 years old free).   • The driver is not a licensed tour guide to accompany you on your walk to archaeological sites or museums. If you require an archaeologist guide to tour the sites with you, you need to hire one additionally (in prior time). Your professional tour driver provides informative documentary & historical details as you travel..
  • The Archaeological Museums & sites in country are closed on: every Tuesday (Museums only), the 25th and the 26th of December, the 1st of January, the 25th of March, Easter Day, 1st of May. Winter season: 8.30 am - 15.30 pm (1 November - 14 April) Summer season: 8.00 am - 20.00 pm (15 April - 31 October)

We did this tour as part of a longer tour (Apostle Paul Tour) of mainland Greece. Our driver, Nikolaos, made transportation/lodging/food a breeze. This allowed us to really focus our attention on the amazing archeological sites of Delphi and the impressive geological features of the still-active monasteries at Meteora. Our group of four included a teenager, two 50somethings and one senior and we did not have any trouble navigating the sometimes steep steps of both these sites. We arrived at our hotel near Delphi after dark (we had added a side stop on our way there - these tours are very flexible!), so we were pleasantly surprised to see the view of a quaint village perched on the side of steep hills in the morning sunlight. The views at Delphi were incredible and there are so many layers of history there that it was hard to take it all in! Nikolaos knew all the best vantage points at Meteora and we had the perfect amount of time in the museums and at the sites. It was so nice to be dropped off and picked up right at the gate. We highly recommend Greece Taxi!
