The most attractive quarters of Piraeus city are Mikrolimano little port, Marina Zeas/ Pasalimani, Peiraiki coastal area and Kastella hill.

Excellent guide--Marinos--who took us all over Athens. He did a city tour in addition to the historical monuments. Had champagne for us at the end of the trip. Flexible on what we wanted to see, was waiting for us as we got off the ship. Only negative--there was NO tour of the Acropolis, we were totally on our own, with no map, no guide, no information.

Die Athen- Tour war soweit in Ordnung, obwohl es auch hier zu Wartezeiten kam, es standen ungenutzte Busse der Firma an den Haltestellen. Die Audioguides sind leider verschlissen, einige mit schlechter Qualität, einige mit Totalausfall. Das größte Problem war allerdings die Rückfahrt zum Kreuzfahrthafen, wir mussten 75 warten, ehe ein Bus zur Verfügung stand. Das Personal in Akropolis vor Ort war dabei in keinster Weise tätig, hilfreich einzugreifen. Zum Glück hatten wir noch genügend Reserve eingeplant! Daher ist von dieser Tour unbedingt abzuraten. Bei den roten Bussen klappte das reibungsloser.
