Beginning at Syntagma Square in the heart of the city, you will first visit the iconic monument, the 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier', which is guarded by the famous Evzone soldiers. Here you will see the 'changing of the guards' ceremony that takes place every day at the top of the hour. You will then make your way to 'Hadrian's Arch', a monumental gateway before stopping at the grandiose ruined 'Temple of Zeus'. Your tour will then continue into the historic neighbourhood of Plaka, one of the oldest and busiest areas of the capital. Enjoy walking below the illuminated Acropolis to discover the Tower of Winds', a marble clocktower, and the Roman Agora, the first shopping court in history. You will also stop off at 'Hadrian's Library' before entering Monastiraki where you will marvel at the historic buildings and architecture of Psirri. You will finish the tour at one of the best eateries in the area where you will enjoy an appetising evening meal and sample local Greek wine.

Eva made the experience good because she’s genuinely kind, personable, and wants everyone to have a good time. For the price, this tour wasn’t worth it. We walked around sites, took some nice photographs, and went to a place for dinner. Eva ordered a series of Greek dishes that we weren’t prepared for as they weren’t what we were expecting. If you have picky children, or are picky yourself, this would not be good for you. We were expecting things like Greek salad, souvlaki, calamari, pita bread, tzatziki, etc, which weren’t on the menu. Eva was incredibly sweet when she noticed my friend wasn’t eating much and offered for her to order something from the menu- it’s just that nothing I listed previously was even on the menu. I’m glad I tried things I had never heard of or would never order myself, however the rest of my party couldn’t eat most of it- so for the price it was disappointing. A description of what kind of food to expect would be more helpful and information about dietary restrictions would be very helpful. Eva was amazing, however the overall experience was average and over priced. If it wasn’t for Eva, I’d rate this a 2/5. Eva herself I’d give 5/5.

Our guide Eva was very friendly, enthusiastic, and communicative. She showed us some great areas and gave us a lot of information. We felt very comfortable with her and absolutely loved her.
