    On entering the site you will see the dominating Temple of Poseidon, the ancient Greek god of the sea, surrounded by the remains of fornications, the gateway (porticos) and houses. Close by are also see the remains of the temple Athena Souniada. Besides its unique location and its archeological interest, Cape Sounio is also famous for its breathtaking sunset and view of the Greek Islands. It is rightly considered one of the most romantic places in Greece.

My wife and I had an amazing time with Nasos! He picked us up right on time and was super friendly and kind! He was extremely knowledgeable and shared so much history and great stories with us! He is very personable and funny too! We reached the Temple of Poseidon early enough to walk around and explore and find a great place for the sunset. It was out of this world and did not disappoint! Thank you, Nasos for an incredible time! When we come back we only want you as our guide!

Truly one of my favorite experiences in Greece. Our group of six shared a beautiful coastal drive with a quick stop so we could dip our toes in the Aegean Sea. We then had a delicious casual dinner at the base of the site. The sunset at the Temple of Poseidon was truly magical. Thanks to Olive Sea and our amazing driver, George. He was so engaging and knowledgeable.

Andreas was awesome, absolutely 5 stars!!! He was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly polite, and funny. It was very entertaining to learn all the stories about Greek Mythology & the historical significance of Athens and all the towns on the way to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. This was a beautiful and romantic drive and the sunset was stunning. The perfect way to end a perfect day of touring!! We took the private tour to be by ourselves, which was perfect. Andreas was waiting for us with a smile at every stop! Our experience was absolutely 5 stars and I would definitely recommend Andreas as a tour guide again.
