Me and my friend enjoyed the workshop so much! I made a mug and she made a bowl which we both use at home! Super fun and totally recommend!

I would highly recommend this workshop! The ladies were so lovely & it didn’t matter that my partner and I are very inexperienced with pottery, as they guided us through every step of the way. I left the workshop feeling content & very relaxed. It is also a big bonus that they are able to ship our mugs to the UK for a good price. I definitely will return if I’m ever back in Athens again!

We visited this workshop in the evening on March 27, 2023 for my daughter’s 9th birthday. We were a family of 6: 2 children (ages 9 & 10), 2 parents, and 2 grandparents. The workshop itself is beautifully decorated and has a happy relaxed vibe that makes you feel at ease when you walk in. There are also little cookies and tea that make you feel like you’re at home. We all set out working our clay and our instructor moved swiftly around the table helping all 6 of us with our individual projects: a vase, a cup, a jar with lid, an astronaut, clay beads, and a plate. She gave us tips and taught us some basics. We spent about 80 minutes diligently working and laughing and learning. She was extraordinarily friendly and kind and had a lot of knowledge in the art. Her English was also perfect. As we wrapped up my daughter was presented with an unexpected small birthday treat which made her feel incredibly special. The whole family agreed this workshop was one of the main highlights of the trip! We highly recommend! Note: I have no background with pottery and I must have over read the details regarding the clay while in communication with the shop. If you opt for the cheaper air dry clay (as we did), you will be able to bring your clay home after the shop. However, you will not be able to use the pottery for holding any liquid as it is not heated in the kiln and therefore remains porous. You will also need to paint your pottery at home once it is dried. Our clay was left in the shop to dry and we picked it up several days later. It was well packed and all of our pottery survived the long journeys back to the USA/Germany. ????
