The leader told interesting stories about the history of the food and the area. We tasted many kinds of olives and tried local dishes. It was fun.

The guides are amazing . They are so warm and very good storytellers. All combined with lots of snaks, food and drinks. Everything was perfect for a nice afternoon. Lovely

The food tour with Julia and her husband, George was absolutely outstanding and definitely a highlight of our time in Athens! Julia was born and raised in Athens so she was extremely well versed on the food, culture and people of the city and she took us to places we would never have found on our own: spice markets, produce, fish and meat markets. We had an olive tasting that was amazing - who knew there were so many different kinds and flavors! We had Greek wines, cheeses and the cherry on top was that we got to eat at some of the small, local spots that Athenians themselves go to (not the tourist restaurants) to try some of the foods that Grecians would have at their own home tables every day. Julia and George are a wonderful couple - super friendly and welcoming, and after the tour Julia sends you an email with restaurant recommendations and unique points of interest to visit (we took advantage of this!). Thank you for an exceptional experience! If you are in Athens you MUST book a food tour with Julia and George :)
