First time doing a "private tour", but no group tours were available after noon when we arrived, so we took a chance. Debated about hiring a licensed tour guide for another 200 euros, but ultimately decided not to, just to rely on the driver. And we were not disappointed. Our driver, Dionisis, with Athens Limo, may not be a licensed tour guide but he was as knowledgeable as any we used on other group tours. His Mercedes sedan was clean and comfortable and he was as friendly and professional as he could be. He discussed timing with us to maximize our visits to the various sites we wanted to see and answered every question we had along the way. All in all a wonderful experience, well worth the extra cost.

We had an absolutely incredible driver (John) who was with us for the entire trip (Athens half day in the morning and Delphi in the evening - yes it was a lot but still doable). We had him from 8am to 11pm due to traffic with two tired teenage boys. He remained friendly and uncomplaining throughout - and frankly was almost as knowledgeable as the guides, particularly when it came to local folklore as opposed to the deeper stuff that the guides all tell you. Our Athens guide, Helen, was fantastic though and very patient, answered all our (many) questions and then others that we didn’t even know to ask. Kept our two teenage boys entertained and not cranky - parents everywhere know that’s near miraculous. Do yourselves a favor and ask for John by name, as also Helen. You will not be disappointed.

The tour was fantastic. The driver was excellent. The guide was awesome. They took us to the places we wanted to see quickly and efficiently. Helped us avoid high tourist traffic times and gave us great things to do after tour. Highly recommend this tour.
