Corinth Canal, Isthmia, Greece Depart from and drive along the coast line until we reach the Corinth Canal where we will make a brief stop.
The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island.
ls considered one of the great engineering accomplishments of Greece.
The canal was dug through the Isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base. The canal was constructed from 1880 to 1893, however, it is something that shipowners and captains had dreamed about for some 2000 years before it became a reality. 10 minutes
Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos), Corinth, Greece Ancient Corinth was one of the most important cities of ancient Greece. It was this megalopolis where the Apostle Paul arrived, worked and established a prosperous church, and later on he wrote two of his epistles, which are now part of the New Testament. We will visit the ruins of the old city where St. Paul worked
You will admire also the Temple of Apollo, that is one of the oldest temples in Greece dating back to the 6th century B.C. 120 minutes

We had a change of plans and decided on this tour the night before the scheduled departure. Early the next morning the point of contact for Athens Limos reached out to me before I could get out of bed. Vasali (our driver) was an absolute professional. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and patient as we explored several of the local shops outside of the ruins. Ask for him by name. You won't be disappointed!!

Dionisis and Athens Limo Tours were simply incredible. My daughter and I visited Athens the last week of March 2022. I chose Athens Limo Tours based on the Trip Advisor Reviews…and I wasn’t disappointed!
We visited Ancient Corinth on our third day. The previous day we had booked a tour with a large company, on a bus, with 25 people, to another site. The difference between that experience and the experience we had with Athens Tours was remarkable. If I had known prior to planning our vacation how big the difference was, I would have booked with Athens Tours all week! For our trip to Corinth, Dionisis was able to arrange for a guide, licensed in Greece, who did an excellent job throughout the day telling not only historic facts throughout our visit, but also mythological and contemporary about the places we visited. Ifi was an incredible tour guide.
On the ride back we asked for suggestions for the next day. Dionisis was able to arrange a short-notice trip to Cape Sounion the next day. That trip was awesome as well.
If you’re visiting Athens and looking for a great experience, please consider Athens Limo Tours. If you’re concerned about the additional cost, let me tell you, it’s well worth it! My daughter and I truly enjoyed our experience, and I’m glad we booked it!
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
How great that you want to share your experience! Your feedback helps other travelers to make a better choice.
