1. First of all we will delve into history in the famous Pnyx, the heart of Athenian Democracy. This historic site, where over 30.000 citizens gathered to voice their opinions, sets the stage for understanding the democratic principles that were fundamental in shaping the course of Western Civilisation. 2. Secondly, we will explore the Trireme, the formidable Athenian Ship that played a crucial role in naval warfare during that era. Understanding the design and tactics of the Trireme offers insight into the Athenian naval prowess and their strategic victory under the leadership of Themistoclesvisit 3. Our tour will finish at the Poikilon Oros, a hard to get at place, a point offering panoramic view of the very waters where the Salamis Naval Battle raged. From there, we can envision the battle scene, where the Persian fleet faced its downfall against the smaller yet strategically superior Greek Forces.
