Visit local streets where we see, taste and shop for cheese, cured meat, fruits, sweets and spices in markets of colour, scents and noise. Taste olives, oil and honey from a farmer and local wine made on site.
4.00pm tours will see ΜΟST of the market as it starts to close. Sundays the markets ARE SHUT so we visit a taverna and eat traditional food with ouzo and local wine. Visit a delicatessean and a spice shop and a producer of olive oil and honey. You will also enjoy Greek coffee and yogurt from a local producer.

Central Market Athens, Monastiraki, Greece We will visit the meat, fish, spice and fruit markets and see how Athenians do their daily shopping.
We will meet the traders and sit down and eat a meal close to the market.
On Sundays we do not visit the markets as they are shut so we visit a honey and olive oil producer for a tasting. 30 minutes
We will visit the spice shop area, with deli shops, honey stores, olives and olive oil stores, owned by local families 30 minutes
