Very pleased with our visit. Josephine, our local guide, showed us around some more remote areas, explaining the very ancient history as well as the more recent. A very good way to discover a town and its history.

This tour was the most interesting and fun city tour I have ever done in all my travels. The opportunity to see mostly the non-touristy sections of Athens was unique and interesting, We went to the sections where the people of Athens actually live. Saw a delightful small neighborhood park that is managed by the residents and has a unique history. We stopped for a coffee in a neighborhood cafe. Plus much more in addition to some of the tourist locations. Our tour guide, Antigoni, was delightful, extremely intelligent and full of knowledge. The first stop Antigoni took us to was a subway station to see ruins and artifacts. We heard many interesting details about Greece ancient and modern history. We even saw a WW2 Nazi detainment center that even some locals are not aware of. I had a wonderful time, learned a lot. If time permitted, I would go again with my daughter.
