Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains day trip from Marrakech, This is the highlights of Marrakech. On this day tour to Desert Agafay & Atlas Mountains you will see the most amazing and beautiful places: Atlas Mountains, Tachdirt Valley, Ckik Valley, Amizmiz Valley, walk to Aroumd Village and visit many Berber Villages on, have tea with a berber family and learen about they life, walk up to the waterfalls and see a wonderful views of Mount Toubka. On this tour you have a chance to ride a camels and a visit to Argan women's cooperative. After lunch we will drive to Desert Agafay to watch the breathtaking desert sunset and sip on a cup of mint tea. Enjoy some free time to relax or meditate before beginning the journey back to Marrakech. The tour start at 9:00 AM, from your Accomodation or if you are satying in the Medina we can meet you at Restourant Cafe de France in Jema El fna square. Erg mooie ervaring, de wandeling naar de waterval is intensief naar zeker de moeite waard. Hamza was een prima gids, erg vriendelijk en hij deelt veel informatie. Absolute aanrader!!

The guide was exquisite and gave us lots of tips and Infos. First stop Camel ride. It is not a dune desert, in case you didn't google it and it can get pretty hot and hard on the back and hips. Then Argan Factory with bread and oils/butter and tea (it was already 12:30!). Afterwards we went to the wterfalls but being overfilled with tourists we went to another one, much less impressive and the walk under the sun at 14:30 wasn't a joke. We had lunch at 15:30!! Amazing and cheap food but one of the waiter was a 4 years old kid.... Then headed back to Marrakesh with few panoramic stops. Back at 18:00. Hadn't I done the 3 days desert tour before I wouldn't have been much happy about this one. It is a cute thing to do to escape the hectic snd hest of the city for some hours. Worth the price.
