This is an award-winning excursion from Marrakech. Leave the city in the morning and return early in the evening, enjoying a day of physical beauty and cultural connection. You will visit the most amazing and beautiful places: Three valleys, Atlas Mountains, Atlas waterfalls, Imlil Valley, Asni Valley, Amizmiz Valley, walk and visit around 7 Berber Villages, have tea with a Berber family and learn about their life, walk up to the waterfalls and see wonderful views. On this tour, you have a chance to ride a camel and a visit to Argan women's cooperative. The tour starts at 9:00 AM when we meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech or if you are staying in Medina we can meet you at Jema El Fna square. The Tour ended back in Marrakech around 17:00 PM The tour cost included: Transport, Guide, Camel ride, Tea & lunch in a Berber family house.

    Meet your driver and the guide at your Marrakech hotel/ Riad to get picked up before your day trip to the atlas mountains from Marrakech; start with a drive to a location near Marrakech for the camel ride experience for 25 mins, enjoy the time on the camels and take some fantastic pictures with tea break inside a Berber tent as point depart of learning about the Berber culture. From here, start driving to the countryside of Tahanaout, where the Cooperative of argan oil is located, enjoy the visit and get a complimentary Berber breakfast.

    From here, start driving to the countryside of Tahanaout, where the Cooperative of argan oil is located, enjoy the visit and get a complimentary Berber breakfast. Continue your atlas mountains journey through rough terrain to Asni, where you will have an opportunity to visit a Berber weekly market on Saturday. On this traditional weekly market, you will discover one of the most Berber traditions. The Berber comes from the villages to meet one day of the week and buy vegetables, meat, and other vital items.

    Persist your trip to Imlil in the deep of the atlas mountains where you have hiked with a local mountains guide as the best source to know about the area, start walking through the Berber villages to the waterfalls, relish a cup of orange juice before the climb up the Toubkal national park, this point offers a great view of the mountains, valleys, and villages. Keep walking to the local Berber house where you'll enjoy the lunch, three dishes (Tajine, Couscous, and Moroccan Salade). after lunch, continue your walking downhill where the driver is waiting to bring you back to Marrakech Your day trip to atlas mountains from Marrakech will help by dropping you off at your accommodation in Marrakech.

My friend and I booked this trip to the Atlas Mountains for a day trip from Marrakech. It completely exceeded expectations. Our guide Umar was very well informed, friendly and attentive. He spoke excellent English and shared lots of information about the area and Berber culture and history. The camel ride was fun and we really enjoyed hearing about the argon oil production process at the women's cooperative. The hike down to the waterfall was a little tough on our old knees, but totally worth it and just beautiful. The lunch that was prepared for us at Umar's house by his mum and auntie was absolutely delicious. Probably the best meal of our whole stay. All in all we would absolutely recommend this trip with Umar.

A memorable trip in Marrakech! So happy that I chose this trip based on the star rating and competitive price. Umar is a fantastic guide, from camel rides in Berber robes to getting an authentic experience visiting Berber villages where argan oil was produced with the best lunch ever in his home up in the mountains cooked by his family was the ultimate memory to cherish. Trekking up Atlas mountains was the most incredible adventure. Grateful to Umar for safely and efficiently navigating us, (mostly me with no rock climbing experience before). He spoke very well and answered all our questions. I would be most happy to recommend him as a guide and the trip he organised. Five ⭐️

Lunch at Mustapha's house was absolutely delicious. The whole trip was excellent. Beautiful views, lots of interesting information. Mustapha was a superb host. Thank you. Highly recommend.
