Take good walking boots warm clothes and some food and drink, very good guide we had, and the journey is not to far away

We found out the day before thar we hadn't actually got any tickets. The tour operator did offer us a refund.... or we could get picked up at 4.50 am to cue. So we decided to do that. We got picked up on time in a a old van that clearly had suspension issues. Our driver was nice enough and kept us well informed when we got there. It's about an hour and 15 from Krakow so you are waiting for the museum to open at 7.30. The museum itself it well run and our tour guide was fantadtic. Very passionate and informative. This day will stay with me forever, it is so haunting amd humbling to see the camps.
