Auschwitz and Birkenau Memorial and Museum Guided Tour from Krakow

We managed to book via a third party but landed up with krakville tours . Very poor . No communication . Late atvpick up despite driver sitting there for 10 minutes . No idea of his name as no Introduction . A nameless girl appeared and called our name gave us a sticker and tickets . No I formation at all. 1.5 hours later we arrived . No breaks . No chat . Nothing other than bad 80s music on the radio . Auschwitz itself we had 5 minutes to go to a toilet . Then through security and Anna the guide from the museum was excellent. She had a great tone and knowledge of the events . She absolutley made the tour despite how harrowing the location. Both sites are very well done and really give you an insight into the conditions and scale of the events that happened. No toilet or comfort breaks . Ushered back tk the bus and thrown around ad the driver went at pace . Still no name . A stop at a petrol station somewhere . And 'toilet ' was the only words uttered . Before being dropped . Auschwitz is an absolute must visist but I'd avoid this particular company. Simply has to be better out there

It is just the transport and they charge a lot for it, they bring you in and tell you where to go, but you just go with the standard guided tours and still have to wait for long times. The drivers weren't very communicative. So most of the price goes towards transportation and i guess you could find better ways to that.. Also we left at 7am not 10am. The museum itself is worth the visit.

We booked this at fairly short notice as our hotel had no availability left. Our tour was organised for the following morning, the time would only be confirmed after we'd paid. I can't understand why we had to be.there for 8:30 when the tour was scheduled for 11:00. Such a waste of a morning, we had to skip breakfast at the hotel ( which we'd already paid for) and buy food at the restaurant. The mini bus we were shuttled to the location in was fairly cramped considering it was an hour and a half drive. The tour itself was taken by a museum member of staff and not by the tour company. It was very informative although there was a lot of walking involved which was expected however some members of our group had to sit out some of the tour.
