During this 5 night Ningaloo Escape Tour spend 6 days aboard Shore Thing exploring the pristine Ningaloo Reef. This tour is like a marine safari with numerous sightings of mega-fauna including turtles, rays and reef sharks. We sail in smooth calm waters winding through spectacular dense pristine coral formations and remote reef between Coral Bay and Norwegian Bay. We visit the historical ruins of Norwegian Bay whaling station and hear tragic tales of the many shipwrecks that lie on the Ningaloo Reef. We also get an opportunity to snorkel on one of these historic shipwrecks. You can view Turtles, Dolphins, Dugongs, Manta Rays, Whales (seasonal) and so much more. Within the calm protected waters of the Ningaloo Reef, there are an abundance of snorkelling, scuba diving and kayaking opportunities available along with stunning secluded beaches to explore. No other Ningaloo Reef tour accesses these areas.

    I do not want to spoil the surprises, but our 5 nights on board 'Shore Thing' exceeded our expectations. At first I was a little disappointed that the boat does not go to the outer reef to see whale sharks (didn't matter as they are not near Coral Bay yet this year) or that the cabins and bathrooms are small. These minor disappointment were quickly forgotten once we met the amazing staff and swam and skuba dived in the wonderfully warm waters of Ningaloo interacting with amazing sea life. Our teenage children also founds lots to entertain themselves with given limited data. A special mention to the highly capable, accomodating and super patient skipper Duke. We are glad we made the trek across the country to experience this remarkable place. I cant say any more you need to experience it for yourself.

    We did a combined 3 & 5 day trip on Shore Thing. Extraordinary care was taken to ensure our whole trip was amazing. We had been on the boat pre covid and were pleased to find that things had only got better. Diving and snorkelling were all truly exceptional with great staff in the water and doing the on board duties. The food was exceptional was superb every day. By day four we had decided to book onboard again as soon as we could.

    We have anticipated this trip for 2.5 years, and with so much anticipation there is a huge risk of disappointment. Sail Ningaloo helped us through all the ups and downs of rebooking, Cristie and Hayley communicated regularly and accurately and supported us to avoid any potential issues such as advanced accommodation bookings before and after our time on board. You can't control the weather, but our time on board exceeded our expectations - the beautiful crew, the delicious food, the balance of relaxation and variety of dive sites. We will look back on this holiday for years to come and reflect on the amazing, memorable time we had. Thank you!
