One of the two oldest public buildings in Adelaide, the Adelaide Gaol is said to be the most haunted site in South Australia. On this evening walking tour of the jail with a guide, learn about its history, which dates back to the time of the early settlers, and perhaps come in contact with one of the ghostly inmates. Tours run selected dates throughout each month.   Time and date must be selected upon booking.

With 45 hangings and a burial site in Murderer's Row, it's no surprise more than 12 spirits haunt the 147 year old building. Your evening includes a ghost tour with the opportunity to make contact through paranormal investigation tools.

Very informative tour, loved hearing all the stories of the inmates and their crimes. Wish we had seen some ghosts though!

I did enjoy the tour however it seemed more of an historical tour of the gaol, not a ghost tour, it also seemed like lots of talking and little time to use the ghost instruments. Even though the information was interesting, I think a little less info and more time to use the gadgets would be nice, just the speech at the start takes ages before you even enter the gaol. I guess I was just expecting it to be more ghost stuff.
