We had an amazing experience with Roger as our driver for a private wine tour across Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley over two days. We were a group of 8 ladies celebrating our 50th birthdays, and Roger made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. He was fantastic with communication in the lead-up, helping to plan our itinerary and ensuring the timing at each venue ran smoothly. Roger was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable about the regions. He also happily took group photos for us throughout the tour, which was very kind. Highly recommend Roger for anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and well-organised driver for a wine tour in SA!

Hahndorf is a bit odd as a place. It's half real and half artificial, catering more for tourists than for locals. There's a lot of German-themed pubs, food places and shops here, but it feels a bit as if they're trying a bit too hard. It doesn't feel very genuine as you walk up and down the main drag.

Regular public buses from Adelaide, takes 40mins. Relatively small village but plenty of small shops and restaurants/ pubs allowing the visitor to experience the history and enjoy German hospitality.
