    We fly all across the valley area, depending on the wind direction on the day. The Avon River and all the farming area it bathes is the location we conduct the flights. We fly at dawn so you will see the area in the best early morning light. This is a fantastic experience to share with family, friends or with a special person. The peaceful adventure is one that carries, still today, the romanticism of this ancient sport. Ballooning was the first means by which humankind managed to fly and this spirit is somehow maintained in what now are very modern aircraft. You will not feel height sick in a balloon flight, quite the contrary, you will be surprised at how tranquil the whole experience is.
  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • This is an activity for all ages 6 and above
  • Pregnant women with over 20 weeks gestation are not allowed to fly
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Breath taking experience and amazing views. We had a very good experience. Nick, the pilot, was very professional. The flight was soo smooth and safe.

We were saving up to tick off my mum's bucket list of being in a hot air balloon and there was no better team than the team at Liberty Balloon Flights for it. We were on a morning (24 Oct) where the day before had been raining (even raining while we drove to the meeting point) but the team kept in communication with us through the uncertainty due to weather and when it all looked in the clear, confirmed with us the evening before meeting at 3.30am. (Extremely thankful for their disposable shoe covers due to the mud and rain!) We drove from Perth to Northam, the drive is a little hard due to the rain and wet roads so do take care if you're driving! Once we were there, the whole team was great from greeting us, briefing everyone, setting up the balloon till we landed and packed up. Nick was our pilot that day, witty, enthusiastic and we all had a wonderful time! Would recommend this to anyone looking to do hot air balloon near perth. Thank you to the whole team for the incredible experience and honoured we were on one of your shortest landings, haha!
