Visit the 120+ year old Command vineyard that the Ashmead family worked tirelessly to restore and save from destruction, taste many of the elite wines in our range alongside back vintage examples in our Private Tasting Room with a selection of locally crafted cheeses.

Elderton is an amazing experience and the staff and wine are exemplary. If you want to taste and experience the best of the Barossa this is a must on the list to visit and experience.

Our host from Elderton was Caroline, she had a vast knowledge of the Barossa wine valley, so we were very happy to as our Guide and host. She did a wonderful job of entertaining us with the Barossa history on the walking tour of the vineyard. When we reached the tasting room all the wines were laid out and the knowledge of hers just blossomed even more, it was a pleasure to take our time with the tasting as well as enjoying the delightful cheese board. Our favourite experience out of our week in the Barossa. Mel’s style had the perfect balance of information and allowing time to enjoy the tasting. We felt welcomed and relaxed. The wines here are delicious and the setting is beautiful.
