Full Day Winery and Brewery Tour in a Classic Silver Spirit Rolls Royce

If you want an intimate wine tour, I can wholeheartedly recommend Esquire Classic Charters. Maureen was accommodating in allowing us to change two of the destinations to our preference, which was nice as my fiancée is more in to wine than I am. Bill was a marvellous driver, with plenty of information and history of the region at his beck and call. The Rolls Royce, which was the star of the show, was beautiful and well maintained. The gentle rumble of the large V8 as you are driven along country roads was magnificent. The experience was what we were hoping for and more.

As we don’t generally like to do large tour group activities, we booked the tour at the suggestion of our accommodation, and we’re happy that they picked us up from there to do our tour. Now we are not winery people, but have done winery tours with our friends back in Sydney, but being the Margaret River region, we’ll we just had to do it. All the wineries and their staff were lovely, and were quite understanding that we weren’t necessarily into wine, and generally only tasted a few wines. We also took a very brief visit to a rock formation that was also interesting. Bill was quite the character, and very much enjoyed his anecdotes while traveling in his lovely roller. My poor wife was never able to figure out her seatbelt. He was also very meticulous about his timing, understandably I guess, but as one previous reviewer suggested, felt that his attentiveness at the some of the wineries a little much. But nonetheless, we had a lovely day, a nice lunch and would still highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic day out! Visited 6 wineries including a lunch stop with a platter at Woody Nook. Our organiser and driver was Maureen who was fantastic and organised a great tour to small, family owned wineries for us. Highly recommend and will use again!
