Travel in a comfortable 4wd to visit Seal Bay, take a stroll to observe the Sea Lions sleeping on the beach, look for koalas at Flinders Chase National Park and enjoy a gourmet Picnic or BBQ lunch . After lunch, visit the Flinders Chase National Park, home of Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks and have a nice cup of coffee watching the kangaroos at sunset at Grassdale Conservation Park ... this is what you can do and much more! During the tour will see a lot of wildlife including the elusive echidna. You will have an experienced tour guide all for your group (max 8 passengers) and with their experience you will be able to observe the wildlife in their natural habitat. ***Unfortunately this tour is not suitable for cruise ship passengers arriving to the island because we will finish later than the last ship tender***

On DAY 1 we pick up from all the major Hotel and B&B in Kingscote, American River and Penneshaw.
On DAY 2 P/Up is only from Kingscote or American River but we will be able to drop you off at the end of the tour in Penneshaw and at the Ferry Terminal (Dep. Ferry at 7.30PM).
If you are booking this 2 days tour you NEED TO BOOK AN ACCOMMODATION IN KINGSCOTE.
We will be unable to pick you up from Penneshaw on the second day.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Touring with Nikki is the best! She's lived on the island most of her life. She is a professional nature photographer who is super passionate about protecting nature and sharing her incredible knowledge with her guests. You'll see things with Nikki that you would never see on your own. 100% recommend this tour!

There are sealed roads, but also bone-jarring dirt roads which have not been maintained well. This was explained as being due to the current drought. Apart from that the experience was wonderful - great views and wildlife and best of all was the detailed explanation from our very experienced, very helpful and always cheerful guide Nikki Redman. She is a force of nature in her own right, having grown up on the island. She is passionate about the environment and knows it backward.
