Discover Margaret River’s unique nocturnal wildlife on this exclusive night tour. The tour operates in a pocket of original bushland at Yelverton Brook Conservation Sanctuary; here you will discover uber-cute rare animals as they rise for their nightly antics, while gazing at the millions of stars in the sky. A variety of animals may be viewed including kangaroos, possums, bandicoots and the rare woylie. This nocturnal wildlife tour is family friendly. The tour includes a short guided bushwalk before arriving at the animal viewing area, and billy tea.

Accommodation in Busselton and Dunsborough.  Pickups also available from Cowaramup town centre.

Tour start time varies throughout the year due to sunset - starting from 5.30pm in Winter, to 7.15pm in Summer. Pickup locations and times will be confirmed prior to the tour.

    On arrival at the sanctuary a short guided bush walk will take us to the animal viewing site. While you sit down and enjoy some bush billy tea or milo, your guides will provide entertaining stories and factual information about the wildlife and bushtucker native to the Margaret River Region. Watch for the animals as they come out for the night - possums, quendas, kangaroos and woylies.

We had the best experience on this tour. From pick up at Busselton, we got lucky as we were the only visitors on the tour so received the VIP treatment. Heading into the bush was just magical - as soon as we headed into a dense area, 3 Kangaroo’s started to follow us. We went to the feeding area and spent time feeding and stroking the gorgeous and friendly kangaroos. Mick and Ryan were super friendly, great with kids and very knowledgeable. Their passion for local wildlife really shine through. Our 7 year old enjoyed the “natural” bubble gum and was smitten with the kangaroos! Highlight of our trip so far and would recommend to everyone.

Amazing night out. The guys are very knowledgeable and able to give you a great night. It for anyone that can do 200m of walking on uneven terrain. Enclosed shoes and long pants are a must. Perfect way to spend an autumn evening. I've never been that close to a bandicoot, and didn't know what a Woylie was until this tour. We had an amazing time, the boys are so friendly, got some good photos and couldn't have been happier. Highly recommend.
