First there was confusing communication with Viator. I received an email saying that the tour time had changed and I confirmed that days before the actual tour. On the day of the tour, I reached out to Viator to confirm that the time had been changed. The operator said no no the time did not change And told me the time was the original time. That was not true. Therefore. my husband and I ended up waiting an extra hour for the tour to start not knowing what was going on. Then, according to the description of the tour, it said light walking. That was not the case, we ended up walking a full kilometer up and down downstairs at a very quick pace according to the tour guide, we had to walk fast because of the timing. I have a disability and could not keep up with the pace with all the stairs. Had I known this was going to be the situation I would not have chose this tour. Additionally, the food on this tour, except for one the last one was not very good. I would not recommend this tour

Took the food, spritz and wine tour on Oct. 23rd with my wife and adult son in a steady rain. Even though the weather was not good, we were still excited to take the tour, thinking the food, beverages and tour experience would make up for it. Nope. Flavia, our guide was nice and did the best she could under the circumstances, but food, beverages and tour in general was uninspiring. The food included cicchetti (small bites) , a pasta dinner and gelato for around 300 euros or 325US. Small bites were very hit and miss(mostly miss) as evidenced by much of it being uneaten by the group of7. The pasta, lasagna for my wife and son, was described by both as mushy and generally tasteless. My squid ink pasta with cuttlefish was ok but not memorable, and the gelato was good as gelato usually is but very small in portion. The tour route and sites were nothing you couldn’t do on your own, and overall the experience was very disappointing. A family of 3 could have 2 or 3 excellent meals with drinks and see the sights on your own.Unfortunately, we felt the tour was more or less complete waste of time and money. Cory Patti and family.

Very knowledgeable guide. Knows the area well and picked out great spots for cicchetti, spritz and wine. Dinner was also memorable.
