An exceptional region The Châteauneuf-du-Pape region enjoys a wide range of soils, and particularly large rolled pebbles (diluvium alpin) above red clay, allowing the grapes to reach a very high degree of maturity. Well aware of the value of their heritage, the winemakers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape have committed themselves over the past few years to an approach aiming at defining and reinforcing the identity of their appellation, particularly through the different local areas and the diversity of grape varieties.

What a wonderful experience! Our guide brought us to three very different wineries in the Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape region. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you’re short on time and want to experience this wine region.

3 stops, 2 different towns. Good mix of 3 totally different vibes. Had nice views along the way and walked by the Pope’s summer residence. Most half day tours are only 2 stops so this was a great value. Small group, friendly tour guide!
