Avignon is small maybe is good for a day visit, careful with your pockets and bags. From there the best is to visit Pont de Garde, it is expensive but it is worth a visit, also Orange and Nimes are places for a half day visit

We had an excellent day with our guide Anne who was born in Avignon, so knew lots of fun facts about life in the area, as well as the history and best places for photo opportunities. Anne, having lived in Australia for 4 years was also very fluent in English. The your itself took you to some amazing places that only are accessible by car.

Very pleasant tour guide! Easy to get along with. Very informative. Attentive to group needs. Good, busy day trip for Provence when short of time. Thank you Anne for the time checks to allow us the opportunity to see the Pont du guard before sunset.
