I enjoyed seeing the Pont du Gard. If I had not already seen the aqueduct at Segovia, I may have been as astonished by it as some other passengers were. However I was disappointed by the commercialism of Les Baux, and by the inadequacy of the commentary. Leah did not set what we saw in a historical and cultural context as other guides do. For example, she showed us the house that Nostradamus lived in, but said nothing about his humanist ideals She gave inadequate or inaccurate answers to questions. There was only a brief reference to van Gogh - about his cutting off his ear We did not even see the exterior of the asylum van Gogh lived in at St Remy. She could not tell us the name of a church we visited. I usually feel that guides have increased my understanding of history snd culture; this was an exception.

Sehr gute Auswahl an Sehenswürdigkeiten, sehr qualifizierter und engagierter Guide. Sogar mein Teenager fand es interessant.
