We will start the tour leaving Madrid on the way to Salamanca. Once there, you will have the opportunity to discover its patrimonial legacy with its innumerable corners and details. We will start in the center of the city. The tour includes the history and curiosities of the University of Salamanca, which was of great importance in the history of Spain. We will also visit the Cathedral. We will finish in the surroundings of the Plaza Mayor, where you will have time to taste its fantastic gastronomy and savor its iconic `tapas´. Then, we will leave for Ávila. Once in the quintessential medieval city, the tour will begin with a view of the wall, and we will pass by the San Vicente Sanctuary and the Cathedral. We will learn about the history of this unique city as we stroll through ancient alleyways and admire impressive Romanesque churches.

Far too many in the group and one couple had brought a child in a push chair which screamed so much the guide had to stop her commentary. There should definitely be an upper age limit especially on a tour of this length, 11 hours. This definitely put a damper on my enjoyment. Salamanca was impressive and Avila from a distance is stunning but not so much when you get inside the walls.

Excellent tour. Punctual, a professional guide and all as offered. Salamanca and Avila are very nice cities and the tour allows you to give an overall impression. To be just one day you take the essentials. Ideal if one cannot spend a couple of days deepening each city, I reiterate is to take the basics of each.
