My trip to the Gheralta mountains in Tigray with Arre was an unforgettable, amazing experience. Arre picked my daughter, a close friend and I up at my daughter’s apartment in Axum and right away I felt welcomed and comfortable with Arre’s positive energy and smile. Arre tailored our trip to what we wanted to see and more. The Adwa mountains were gorgeous to behold and Arre made stops he felt we would appreciate and would stop anytime we wanted to look around or take photos. I felt safe and cared for by Arre and enjoyed his company along walks to churches and places with wonderous views of the Gheralta mountains. Phenomenal experience with an expert guide! Arre is the definition of an excellent guide. He knew all the places to go for anything you needed and was very well versed in the history to give you backstories of anything you asked about. We adjusted our hours and he was able to accomodate. I recommend having Arre book your hotels directly for you. You'll get a better rate and deal with less complications due to it still being a remote city. I will definitely be using Arre for future trips.
