Hiking in Shahdag National Park Hiking 5 km (3-4 hours) in Shahdag National Park, the largest in Azerbaijan. You will pass mountain rivers, thick forests and paths that are surrounded by mountains of Greater Caucasus. You will gradually ascend to 1540 meters above sea level to see this misterious Garanohur Lake. Now's the time and here's the place to have rest and enjoy the views, listen to voices of birds and of course have your picnic in the dark Garanohour forest surrounding this majestic mountain lakeside.

The trip supposed to be held on September 6. However; No one call me, wrote a message etc. Even I paid for the tour, I got no service at all. I call their number, so other guy on the phone said that "It's not Azerbaijan Mountain Guide". Shortly; do not book the tour, they will not show up but take your money. I am still trying to get my money back. Something weird is happening there. Strongly disrecommended, do not make the same mistake as me. I hope I can get the money back, the tour was scam!

It is easy enough to hike and the places are simply stunning. The tour is very well organised. Recommended!

Озеро находится высоко в горах (по данным 1540 метров над уровнем моря) и окружен густым лесом. Дорога к нему ведет через каменистую горную реку, подъемы, спуски и занимает примерно четыре часа. Но этот путь того стоит, того чтобы, увидеть это чудо природы и вообще пока вы в пути, меняются пейзажи и один за другим открываются прекрасные виды. Про компанию: Мы впервые приобрели тур у этой компании и остались довольными их пунктуальностью и профессионализмом. Нас забрали из нашего адреса в Баку в определенное время, как и обещали и вернули целыми и невредимыми, к тому же с впечатлениями на всю жизнь. Наш проводник был очень отзывчивым, предлагал помощь по любому поводу :) Я бы их порекомендовала!
