The Museum of Islamic Civilization was one of the highlights of my whole trip. It was very quiet and we had the museum mostly to ourselves. Mohammed the guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. It was a great way to spend half a day and I only wish the credit card machine in the museum shop has been working—I’d have come home with many more books! The Al Noor mosque is lovely and the Blue Souq is, well, a souk. This was day 10 and I was pretty much over souks by then.

Very informative and interesting. A highlight was the lecture attended at the mosque - well worth it. Would recommend this tour for a different perspective of the culture. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable - the small additional cost for a private tour was well worth it and allowed us to make the most of every stop especially when I saw the large tour buses and the guides trying to herd the passengers around!!. .
