It stands alone, on top of a 25-foot-high sandy hill, at the highest point in Bahrain, miles away from another natural tree and with no apparent source of water. With 32 feet in height, it has continued growing-despite the extreme temperatures, lack of fresh water, and nutrients. 30 minutes

Visiting friends in Bahrain and scheduled this packed one day guided trip. Jamila is an excellent guide, and is easy to understand (English is great). Jamila is knowledgeable about the historical background and insight at each place we visited, was quick to pivot or alter the tour when needed and was a pleasure to spend the day with. Jamila also brought tea and coffee for the car ride (this was amazing). Lastly, I had the best hummus of my life at the restaurant we stopped for lunch at. I would recommend Jamila if you are looking for a flavor of Bahrain and have one day to spare!

We really enjoyed the Bahrain full day sightseeing tour. It provided a good overview of the city and key sites. In particular, the visits to the mosque, museum, fort, oil fields, and F1 race track were very interesting. We also enjoyed the traditional lunch near the marketplace. The tour guide and driver were great and provided a lot of good info on the city and country.
