I booked the experience through TripAdvisor and received confirmation. I waited for the driver to show up in the morning, and he never did. I reached out to the company and never received any sort of response. TripAdvisor refunded me, but I wasted my morning with plans I made, but never happened.

Our guide gave us a great overview (history, geography and geology) of the countryside as he drove us north from Loreto. A few miles up a dirt road we stopped at the riverbed we followed to Canipole Canyon. It was a two-mile hike in through some deep sand and gravel and riverbed rocks. He shared his knowledge in the local flora and fauna and is very passionate about the cave paintings and petroglyphs. It was a great experience; beautiful area!
