Wow, this tour was SO cool. We booked the San Jose del Cabo Sunrise Whale Watching trip with SALTY CABO Excursions and had an absolutely amazing time. We had to wake up super early but trust me, it was totally worth it. The sunrise over the water was gorgeous, like something out of a movie. The boat was super clean and comfy and there weren’t too many people, which made it feel more personal. Our captain was awesome. Really chill and clearly knew what he was doing. He got us out there just in time to catch the first light, and not long after that, we saw whales. Real live whales just cruising through the ocean. It was surreal. We got some incredible photos and honestly just had the best time. If you’re visiting Cabo and want to do something unforgettable, book this tour. Greetings from Austin, Texas. Would absolutely do this again.

My husband and I loved this experience! Well worth the early wake up for the sunrise trip. Sophia was a wonderful tour guide, and oceanographer, so knowledgeable about whales and the ocean. And she’s bilingual! We saw a mama and baby several times breaching coming up for air, it was breathtaking. An unforgettable experience we would highly recommmend!

This tour was worth every penny as well as the 5am wakeup. Sofia was our wonderful guide and very knowledgeable about whales and whales specifically in that region of the world. The boat ride was quick and easy and it was nice not to be surrounded by other whale watching tours.
