This lesson is a good option for those who wants to surf longer on the same day. Surfing is not as easy as it looks, we make it easy for you!! For this lesson you need to have the best physical condition. No matter how big your group is, we always treat them as semi-private with short ratio of classmates per instructor, that gave us better results, but most important we do it for safety.

y 7 y/o daughter took a lesson here and I rented a board for the week. First off, the booking and communication were great. I used WhatsApp and got quick responses. They also were very accommodating to rent a board for the week rather than daily. Fernando was great in helping me pick out a board and giving break advice. I had the ability to swap out boards based on conditions and got advice on where to surf and guidance on the break and hazards to be wary of. As for my daughter's lesson, she had a great time with Frank (Francisco maybe). She had a tough experience surfing in CA, so it was a bit hesitant. He was able to get her in the water and she had an absolute blast. He was very careful with her and patient. Definitely recommend the place! For those just looking to rent a board the location is perfect. It sits at 3 breaks and they have variety from foamies for beginners or small waves to hardtop and others for intermediate. They also are located centrally to 3 decent surf breaks all within walking or paddling distance. to show how friendly they were, I even "snaked" one of the owners and didn't know who she was. Afterwards, she was really calm and even encouraging about just having fun in the water. Will rent from here and take lessons again for sure!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas Los Cabos, Mexico - Customer Service does not care about your complaints and they do nothing for you. Simply do not go to a Resort with Theft Reviews. Managers and Owners do not have e-mails listed so your complaints go unnoticed. They are not reported to Head Quarters. Our complaints in connection with theft are still going on and nothing is done about it. They are not settling our complaint, they ignore all complaints, I have been complaining since Dec. 2022 - I want them to refund me the Tablet money which was stolen from our room the 23 of December. Great X-mas gift from this Resort STEALING. The General Manager there is César Mastache his email is unknown and why bother he seems to ignore all complaints. What we need is; the Riu family (the owners) contact information by e-mail. They do not get any complaints at all and that is where and to whom we should complain. All complaints do not get to them. Will not return to any of Riu's Resorts ever.

This checked off a major bucket list item of mine! Fernando was amazing! He was helpful and personable. A great teacher! I got up my very first try! The personalized help getting into the wave and standing up was incredible. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to catch that wave!
