    Enter the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, the central part of ancient Shirvanshahs kingdom and dive into the spirit of Islamic civilization while passing through the courtyard and king’s private rooms. Together with your guide you'll get to know the history of the palace and visit the meticulously designed mausoleums that witnessed many troubles for the past two centuries. Afterwards, you'll also explore the ancient and controversial pagan temple located next to Maiden Tower and see ancient pagan monuments discovered in different parts of Azerbaijan.

Absolutely amazing walking tour led by Riad. We were the only people on the tour so we were able to ask additional questions. Riad demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the history of the old town as well as more recent history. The tour was lively and entertaining and we learnt such a lot in a short space of time. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Baku. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of joining Riad for a one-hour walking tour through the Old City of Baku, and it was an absolute highlight of my stay! The tour was both engaging and informative – the perfect mix of history, local insight, and personal anecdotes. What really stood out was Riad himself: his easygoing, humorous, and genuinely likeable personality made the experience feel more like a walk with a knowledgeable friend than a formal guided tour.
