My partner and I really enjoyed the cooking class, the trip to the market was wonderful. We have done cooking classes in a few countries and this was by far the best. We learned a lot about Bali and the culture from Sunday, your welcoming host. He speaks perfect English and is able to describe lots about food and Bali, always checking if you have any questions. The food was wonderful and everything was very well organised, I would highly recommend this class.

Still wondering if you should do a cooking class while in Ubud? Just do this one. You will not regret the decision. Yes the cooking is the main star, but the time spent with Sang Made travelling to the market and then to his house, is a activity by itself. He shares lots of information and answers questions you may have. The house compound is an oasis with beautiful gardens and a wonderful setting for the cooking class. Now to the cooking class - very easy to follow and replicate and the meal at the end is wonderfully presented and of course super delicious. Hospitality at its best!

Our host was very knowledgeable. We began with a guided tour of the local market. We then went to the family compound where the cooking school Is based. We were given comprehensive teaching throughout the day culminating in a delicious lunch which we had prepared from scratch. The day was a complete delight
