Balinese Cooking class with traditional morning market visit

The driver picked us up to go to the ubud market promptly. The host, Wayan, was there to show us around the local market and explained to us what ingredients are used for certain dishes. When we got to the cooking place, the scenery was very nice and serene, lush rice field and Wayan showed us the garden. She offered us a small snack and juice before we got started. She explained what we would be cooking and the ingredients etc. The assistant was also very lovely as she helped us along the way. We cooked approximately 7 or 8 dishes bland between each one both Wayan and the assistant helped us with the preparation and cooking. They even catered for us to be able to cook halal chicken. The both of them are such warm, hospitable and funny hosts, it was a great atmosphere. We were lucky because another group dropped out prior so we had the experiencd all to ourselves. Of course after all that cooking, we got to eat all that yummy food we just made. The whole experience from door to door was a seamless and hassle free experience. This was a mega highlight for our honeymoon. Very strongly recommend this experience!
