Tanah Lot - one of the popular interesting temple and located in the west of Bali (Tabanan Regency).The most visitors come to Tanah Lot every time for sunset so this place deemed icon of Bali. We had a great day with our guide Kana. After pick up we went to a day spa for a 2 hour treatment which was absolutely luxurious. Kana then took us to Tanah Lot, sharing his wisdom with us throughout the journey. We stopped for a delicious lunch of crispy duck that Kana recommended. Tanah Lot at sunset did not disappoint and Kana took lots of great photos for us. I highly recommend this tour, we are 2 females traveling alone and felt very safe with Kana.

We cross a small park very well maintained, and we see the temple perched on its rocky promontory. Accessible at low tide, a few steps from the shore.It is capped with thatched roofs, one of coconut fibers, I can not say.it has in the park a temple,always with these entrances of stones raised to the sky like doors ,but only their uprights. You have to wait until sunset, to as the agencies say enjoy the magic of the place,d or many tourists, at this time. Our guide gives us the meaning of his name. Thanah EARTH,Lot WATER, meeting of land and water. Nice one.
