    A knowledgeable interpretive guide will lead you on a 1 hour and 40 minute guided walking tour of Banff, stopping at key downtown locations where you will hear spine-tingling stories about haunted landmarks, unsolved mysteries and terrifying encounters at hotels.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The minimum age is 8.
  • This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants.
  • The tour is entirely outdoors. Please wear appropriate footwear (no heels or open toed shoes) and wear/bring warm clothes even in the summer months as the evenings can be cool.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Whatever happened to that cute couple who went on the hike in Banff and were never seen again? Find out, plus learn a lot of interesting historical details and meet colorful characters. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, you'll get some exercise and see parts of the town that are not on the main path! I especially liked that our guide shared historical photos along with her stories.

Nice guide and path around the city center. The stories were a bit of a stretch to call it a ghost tour. Would be better if it were just a historical tour with a bit of ghost flare. Many of the stories were of people that worked for the company.

My partner and I were very pleased with the tour! The stories that our tour guy (Sorry we didn’t catch his name) told helped us see Banff if a new way. One thing that is good to know for everyone is to dress for the weather! While we had our jackets some in our group did not and therefore were struggling to fight the cold. All and all our guide was funny, knowledgable, and personable. Would recommend the tour to everyone who loves a little dark history!
