This two-day fully-loaded tour is planned from Bangalore to Hampi & back via Chitradurga Fort. Hampi is a compelling tourist destination that showcases extraordinary architecture of medieval India. We were in Hampi for 3 days. Hotel Clarks Inn is a DISASTER. Very bad experience. Though Mohammad Mustafa in reception, was very friendly and co operative. I strongly suggest that anyone who is planning trip must stay in Hospet, where there are better hotels and food joints. It is just 12 LM from Hampi. 2 days is required for doing justice to Hampi. You should not miss opportunity to visit Badami Caves. Though, it is 165 KM from Hampi. Ideally stay in Hospet for 2 nights and 1 night in Badami. Railway junction is also there.
