The Grand Palace, Bangkok, Thailand The dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace is undoubtedly the most famous landmark in Bangkok. It’s one must-see sight that no visit to the city would be complete without. It was built in 1782 and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. The Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of the Thai people. We booked a tour with Shore Excursions Asia.
The tour organiser (Sammy) ensured that our request for the various activities were accommodated.
During the tour we asked if our activity schedule could be revised slightly, due to weather conditions. The tour guide re-arranged everything for us.

I am extremely satisfied with this tour. If I could give them more stars, I would. I was skeptical to make this reservation because the webpage mentioned a 7 AM pick up and our cruise docked in Leam Chabang at 9 AM. They are very flexible and adapt to your needs. I communicated with them by this site, and later by whatsapp. My husband and I had a great day!!! It was our tour guide (fluent in English), plus a driver... just the four of us. Nina went far and beyond her job, providing all the information about the city, and the temples, plus the culture and customs of the people of Thailand. She was our personal photographer for the day. We went to 5 temples, the Grand Palace, a river cruise (not crazy about that one). We went through Chinatown. She took us to a place to buy souvenirs. We did more than the cruise ship tours offers, at less price. It was a full day, from 9 AM to 8 PM (our ship docked overnight). We went to Pattaya the next day, which was another great experience.

Fabulous tour. Our guide, Giftsy, was very informative, funny, engaging, and took us to visit incredible places. Giftsy listened to ur needs and planned accordingly. She was excellent at communicating with us prior our arrival to port so we felt confident not only that she would be there but how to meet.
