A two day excursion, staying overnight at the River Kwai Resotel, which will incorporate time spent at The Bridge over the River Kwai, visting the POW Cemetary of Kanchanaburi, riding the train over part of the 'Death Railway' and going to Hellfire Pass and more. (01 Jan-30 Jun 2018 Hellfire Pass Interpretative Centre (the museum) will be closed for renovations, however, visits will still go ahead to the actual location to see Hellfire Pass. Then a visit will be made to Sir Weary Dunlop’s Park at the nearby Home Phutoey River Kwai Resort. Due to its similar historical thread it is believed that this is a suitable alternative to the museum while it is closed.)

Please be aware that the pick-up for this tour is included and covers all the hotel located in the following areas: Silom Road, Thai Cultural Centre, Phaya Thai, Huai Khang, Bang Rak, Sathorn, Surawong Road, Rajdamri Road, Ram Buttri Chana Songkhram, Luangsuan Road, Khaosan Road.
For hotel pick-ups outside of this area, an additional charge may be applied or a closer meeting point pick-up may be suggested to you by our Team upon reception of your booking.

  • The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions. (This is particularly applicable to the Kanchanaburi to Bangkok transfer where traffic conditions can be very unpredictable.).

  • Child rates applicable for children between 3 and 12 years old if occupying the parents’ room. If bed required, adult rate will apply.
  • Any rejection of meals or tour program is non-refundable

Wow, what a wonderful tour. It's non-stop packed with information. Our emotions were sad, grief, awestruck and horrified at the past for all the Allied POW's and for those who remarkably survived. Our tour guides are awesome. We feel as though we are on a private tour. Mr Vetich from Burma is the most awesome guide/man. He was so attentive to our needs. We recommend this tour in every way. So much history to see. We stayed at the Resotel. 100% luxurious cabin set in the jungle momentswalk to the river. The set meal dinner was incredibly tasty and so much. You will not starve. Awesome place. Awesome tour.

Thank you so much for a memorable tour, Team! Only feedback I want to leave is, the food potion wasn't for a solo traveller. Everything came in for two and I had to leave a lot of food behind.
