This is a full day private tour that covers the highlights Kanchanaburi and Damnoen Saduak. First stop off the day is the floating market, followed by exploring Bridge over River Kwai and surroundings. Enjoyed the trip, very informative and our tour guide was really good and helpful (always making sure we had drinks and snacks and stopping at a services whenever needed). The only negative is it’s a long time in the car which can’t be helped given the distance but something to consider - it’s a long day! For that reason we think it was definitely worth doing the private tour so you can do things at your own pace.

An interesting and varied day exploring a floating market , a lunch stop on the banks of the river Kwai and then a final stop at the war museum and bridge on the river Kwai Our guide gave us some interesting facts about the market and how it had changed and also the history of the death railway.

Its a great day out but just know it is a very long day - Mira the guide was lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful. The floating market was very quiet but should get busier after covid - we went on the train over one of the most difficult bits of the railway- the view on the curve is brilliant- Sam the driver was great too.
