I am sure the walking tour would have been amazing if we had been better equipped with understanding where the meeting place was! We did walk the town by ourselves and had a grand time!

Very pleasant tour guide. Covered many historic sights on and adjacent to Queen Street. In- depth coverage of churches and iconic chattel houses. Could have talked more about public facilities, town centre, library, local governance and how these developed from the past to today as well as prominent towns people and how they contributed to Barbados.

This was an amazing tour and Kristin was an even better guide. We had him twice for two different tours and he didn’t disappoint! It’s evident that he’s a very knowledgeable guide and has a passion for Barbados history, and future. We especially enjoyed Kristin’s and the tour’s emphasis on the Black experience. As a Black people, it was important to hear a nuanced account of the island’s Black histories and contributions. Yes, Barbados is a majority Black country, but most of our experiences glossed over Black history other than mentioning “slavery.” Kristin made us feel respected and engage with a history that put us at the center and not along the margins. It’s in the name Chattel House. This tour and experience with Kristin enjoyable and educational.
