We are local surf instructors with 25 years surf experience. The water temperature , beaches and waves are excellent in Barbados for learning to surf . Our team of instructors are the best on the planet . They have competed in the sport and represented their country in world ISA surfing many times . Our surf instructors are polite , caring , calm and most of all fun .

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Had a great experience on 1:1 surf lessons with Axe - so much fun, learned loads and saw my confidence and surfing progressing over several lessons. Felt in really safe hands and had complete confidence in Axe and the rest of the team - all so lovely. They really look after you. Thanks a million. Hope to be back again! ???? ????‍♀️

Had the best time surfing at Drill Hall with Dread or Dead! My instructor (Axe) lead me seamlessly through my 2 hour lesson. Having minimal experience on a board, I was hoping to catch only a few waves. With Axe’s help I was able to pop up on every single one and even practiced turning. I’ll definitely be back, next time hopefully for a surf camp!

The instructors at Dread Or Dead are the perfect instructors for surf lessons. Knowledgable, patient, supportive and hey adapt to any level seamlessly. I will be coming back and hopefully can continue my surfing education.
