I had only one day in Barcelona. Only taxis and busses are allowed in the cruise port so I took a short cab ride to a hotel for my tour pickup. A very clean Mercedes vehicle, driven by Ricardo picked me up right on time. Both Joan, my guide, and Ricardo were well dressed and extremely cordial and polite. I wanted to see Sagrada Familia and Guell Park but fortunately I saw, and learned, so much more about Barcelona that day. Joan was a terrific, patient tour guide….I consider myself lucky to have had him leading our group. My only caution is to be aware that there is a good bit of walking and climbing stairs…some of it on uneven ground, as in Guell Park. At the end of the day I was exhausted….but so very happy that I had taken the tour.

We cancelled this trip since they decided they could not pick us up from our ship and we could not bring our luggage. All had previously been agreed to.
