Barcelona Highlights Private Guided Tour with Hotel Pick-up

Excellent tour guide, extremely knowledgeable, great sense of humor. Highly recommend this company. This tour was the highlight of our vacation.

I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our two days of touring with Marta and Moises. On our first day, we had an all-around tour of Barcelona including a visit to the National Museum of Art and a visit to Sagrada Familia. Tuesday morning Marta and Angel were there to pick us up right on time. We drove some around the city and then went to the National Museum of Art. Marta was so knowledgeable and such a delight to listen to as she shared so much information with us. We learned a lot of new and fun things about Barcelona. You can tell how much she loves the city, and she shares it so well with other people. It was quite an experience to walk through the Romanesque section of the museum and see things that are 1000 years old. But our favorite part was going through the Art Nouveau section and seeing all the beautiful furniture and paintings. Marta then took us to a lovely restaurant that she knew of, and we had a great lunch. Afterwards we walked down Las Ramblas to people watch and then visited the Barcelona market. It was fascinating and I really wish that I had a market like that somewhere near me here at home. We then went to Sagrada Familia and toured the church. This is the most beautiful church I have ever seen and everywhere you looked it was amazing. I loved the stained-glass windows more than anything. The next day we were picked up by Moises and Enrique and were taken to the cogwheel train station to go up to Montserrat. Moises was also very knowledgeable about Barcelona and Catalonia and shared his stories of living in the area. It was a beautiful church, and we roamed around and saw all the beautiful art. We lit some candles and took lots of pictures. We also rode up on the Saint John funicular to the top and saw some beautiful views. We visited the guest shop and bought some of the monastery cake as recommended by Moises and then went and sat in the courtyard and just enjoyed the surroundings. Moises then took us to a wonderful restaurant, that was out in the middle of nowhere, that was usually only visited by the local people. We had a delicious lunch and talked and laughed about the things that Americans and Catalonians have in common. This is where having a tour guide really pays off because we got to visit a restaurant that we would have not normally known anything about. On our way back to the city he pointed out interesting landmarks and gave us some more stories. Both of our tours were fun, interesting, and thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend your agency to everybody and tell them that this was the best way to see the city and learn so many new things about it.

I have no words for this tour company. They went above and beyond normal customer service. Prompt responses. Reasonable prices.Impeccable service. Our driver and guide Mr Joao was awesome. I traveled with in laws who were on mobility scooter and they helped us with what he could visit or not visit. Highly recommend.
