  • Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic), Barcelona, Spain
    Start the tour in the heart of the city in Plaza Catalunya and enjoy a walking tour through the oldest part of the city, the charming Gothic Quarter, a maze of quaint, narrow streets full of Roman and medieval architecture. You will visit the Cathedral, Jewish Quarter, St. James Square and part of the Roman wall. The walking tour ends with a visit to Santa Maria del Mar church in the Born district and while enjoying a rest and you will be treated to coffee break at a local café.

    After a ride from Gothic Quarter, on our private air-conditioned vehicle, you will have a short road trip seeing the marvels of Barcelona. Then we will stop at Monjuïc to have a great view of the city and we will pass through the Barcelona's Olimpic Avenue. You'll continue to Park Guell on Tibidabo mountain to admire this marvelous city gardens. Then, we will do a walking tour. Xavi (Xavier), our guide, was truly a gift to us! He showed us amazing Barcelona with knowledge, enthusiasm and humor. In spite of rain, we were able to see this beautiful city through his eyes and appreciate its culture, architecture and history. We highly recommend this tour and hope you are able to experience it with Xavi or someone as informed and passionate as he is!

Marta made this tour of Barcelona come to life! She was amazing. Friendly, warm and so very knowledgeable. Park Guell and Sagrada Familia were the highlights of our recent trip to Barcelona. We were completely amazed at Gaudi's talent and imagination. So much so, that we took the Casa Batllo tour the next day. Special thanks to Marta who made this tour such a memorable one!!!

Nuria was a great guide - explaining both the history, with her personal flavor added as a born and raised resident of the area. Highly recommend the tour - included a lot more than we expected, including a walk through the old town. Would recommend to all. Useful Note: the entry tickets for the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell are secured in advance, however you will be expected to pay for them at cost, on top of the cost of the tour.
